About These Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are broken down into the following sections:

  • Section 1: Definitions used throughout these Terms and Conditions.
  • Section 2: Conditions that relate specifically to Service Plans.
  • Section 3: General terms applicable to all works, whether carried out under a Service Plan or further to a Quote.

Section 1 – Definitions

a. ‘Add-on Item’
A Gas Fire Service Plan, Gas Cooker Service Plan, Unvented Cylinder Service Plan, or the provision of a Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate in conjunction with a Plan.

b. ‘Fees’
The fees payable to us by you for the provision of a Plan or additional works as set out in a Quote.

c. ‘Plan(s)’
The Service Plan(s) described in your documents that you have successfully applied for and we have confirmed in writing or by email.

d. ‘Quote’
Any quote issued by us and accepted by you for products or services outside of those included in a Plan, as well as any agreed changes.

e. ‘TradeHelp’
TradeHelp Ltd of Marchwiel Centre, Bryn Lane, Wrexham, LL13 9UT. TradeHelp is our software provider and data processor for managing your Plan(s).

f. ‘Us’, ‘We’, ‘Our’
The heating installation and repair company providing the Plan documents.

g. ‘Works’
Any installation, repair, or servicing works carried out by us, either under a Plan or following a Quote.

h. ‘You’, ‘Your’
The person whose application to join one or more Plans has been accepted by us.


Section 2 – Conditions Applicable to Service Plans

1) Service Plan Eligibility

You can apply for a Plan if:

  • You have one domestic (up to 70Kw) condensing gas central heating boiler.
  • You live in the area we cover (please contact us for details).
  • You are aged 18 or over and are the owner or owner-occupier of the property.
  • The property has 5 or fewer bedrooms.
  • If applying for an Add-on Item, you must also apply for a main Plan.

Additional Eligibility for Essential Plans:

  • Your boiler has a circular flue, is under 16 years old, and doesn’t need to be removed for repairs.
  • Your boiler and heating system are safe and in good working order (see paragraph 3b below).

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any Plan without giving a reason.
  • Provide a bespoke quote for properties with more than 5 bedrooms or complex heating systems.

2) Inclusions and Exclusions

  • Inclusions: Outlined in your Plan documents.
  • Exclusions:
    • Pipework, flues buried in walls, or outside the property boundary.
    • Heating appliances (e.g., thermal stores, radiators unless specified).
    • Damage caused by misuse, third parties, or weather-related issues.
    • Sludge build-up, hard water scale deposits, and corrosion.
    • Emergency call-outs unrelated to scheduled servicing or maintenance.

3) Limitations

  • Pre-existing faults are excluded unless we installed and maintained the product.
  • Boilers deemed Beyond Economic Repair (BER) are not covered. BER is defined as:

4) Call-Outs

  • Call-out fees for issues outside of your Plan are chargeable.
  • If further unrelated work is needed, a second call-out fee may apply.
  • Missed or failed access visits will incur additional charges.

5) Termination

  • You may cancel your Plan at any time. Refunds are not available for mid-term cancellations.
  • Cancellations within 14 days of starting the Plan (if no work has been done) will receive a full refund.

Section 3 – Conditions Applicable to All Works

1) Obligations

We aim to carry out all work promptly. However, unforeseeable delays such as weather or part availability may occur.

2) Carrying Out Works

  • You must provide safe access to the site.
  • We will restore access to pipes or wires but do not cover redecoration or flooring repairs.

3) Stopping Works

We may stop work immediately if:

  • Health and safety issues are discovered.
  • Payment is delayed.

Data Protection

We collect personal data to:

  • Provide and manage Plans and Quotes.
  • Communicate offers or service updates.

We comply with all relevant data protection laws.


Risk and Liability

  • We are not liable for consequential damages or issues caused by third-party factors.
  • Liability is capped at the total amount paid for the service.
